This is a made-to-measure pattern, meaning you can use any yarn and any hook size you want. My testers used everything from DK (4mm hook) to bulky weight yarn (7-8mm hook).
The Cumulus Cardi is an easy and beginner friendly pattern that is easy to modify to suit your needs. You can make long sleeves, make it more/less cropped, add ribbons instead of buttons, sew on more appliques, make puff sleeves... the opportunities for customization are endless! Have a look at the tester photos to the right to get some inspiration. ︎

- any yarn (I used bulky weight)
- recommended hook for your yarn
- darning needle
- scissors
- stitch markers
- optional: 3-4 big buttons
- optional: sewing machine (NOT necessary but useful)
