ABOUT US & OUR PHILOSOPHY

for once, the covid crisis brought peace. a constant falling
in and

               u
of                t       c r e a t i n g finally settling within the confined corners of our small student
apartment.

wool & buggers is a process of sheltering and of homemaking. of finding
                                                                                                                        and looking
 ––                                                                                                                              and missing
                                                                                                                                            and gaining.
 
we have always found healing in different ways.    /     aleksander finds healing in the ocean; in
waiting; in patience. waders in brisk salty thigh high water. /                          anneli finds healing in habit
and repetition; in the thoughtless and monotone. lost in words craft painting.

                for both of us, healing means using our hands. not handy but hand–y  (playing in the
occupied rien.)

wool & buggers is a dedicated space for diligence and process. a shelter for failure and
experimentation. aleksander refining his fly tying skills, anneli dabbling in crochet and fiber
arts. these two such seemingly disparate crafts that to us have become so intertwined an
extension and elongation of             who we are            and                 what is sacred.

through the lens of coalescence we burrow into overlaps and intersections
