The dragon scarf honors the year of the dragon and was made to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Inspired by @devout_hand’s animal scarves and @destiny.makes’ cut-out crochet colorwork pieces, the dragon scarf is a squiggly and meandering scarf that follows the shape of a dragon. The scarf is customizable in length, which means you can make it however long you want (if you really want to bundle up). ;)
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and up. You should have knowledge of the basic stitches (single crochet, in this case) – everything else is explained in the pattern, both in written and video format. I recommend you being comfortable with crochet colorwork – although I encourage everyone to give it a shot!
MATERIALS:
- aran weight yarn in two colors
- 4.5mm hook
- scissors
