The Bean Tapestry features six graphs of our dog Luna and all of her bestest friends, with ample opportunities to modify the graphs to crochet a tapestry based off of your own dog.
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and up. You can use any yarn and its recommended hook size to make the graphs.

- Any weight yarn (pattern has been tested with fingering weight yarn up to aran weight yarn)
- Recommended hook size for your yarn

Measurements and Yardage
Measurements and Yardage
Measurements will vary depending on what yarn you choose. For aran weight yarn (with a 5mm hook), the tapestry measures to about ~53x55cm. With sport weight yarn and a 3mm hook, the tapestry measures ~30x35cm.
Make a crochet tapestry of your dog!
The pattern for the Bean Tapestry is for the graph/tapestry only, and includes instructions for how to attach the piece to a dowel as a wall hanging. There are no instructions for using the graph in a sweater or other item of clothing.
That said – feel free to use it in whatever way you want – to make a sweater, vest, pillow case, or what not. I made my original tapestry into a sweater!
The pattern features graphs for seven different dogs, all modeled after Luna's real-life besties: Lykke, Leia, Samba, Milo, Gördis, and Lukas.
