Born out of my love for the high desert
This design is an ode to my two years living in New Mexico and was made in remembrance of the desert sky, which was always so magnificent. I miss seeing the last sun rays hitting the pale orange adobe houses on bus rides back from Santa Fe – the beautiful New Mexican color palette flashing past the window; the red hues of the mesas and the dirty pale yellow that is the desert.
To make this pattern, you should be familiar with basic crochet stitches and how to change colors. It's advantageous to be familiar with graphs, but there are some graphing tips in this pattern too!
The pattern will be updated in 2025 to accommodate for sizes 3XL – 5XL.
