Nymphs

You can almost never go wrong with some sort of nymph. After all, fish eat 90 % of their food from under the surface and not on it. Take that, purists! As other flies, my nymphs are not too complicated but rather generalistic and I will almost always start with a Hares ear when nymphing as I just have such confidence with that fly.
