THE BUGGERS
by Aleksander Jaworowski

To me, fly tying is like cooking. I’m not too concerned with recipes, or specific ways a fly should be tied. I want food to taste good without requiring too much hassle, I want my flies to catch fish without too much frills. I love freestyling in both cooking and tying but on the following pages I have assembled my most essential flies of the categories of flies that I fish. Have a look, or commission a set tailored to your needs

My fly fishing and fly tying journey began in 2010 when I found the stash of my dads flyfishing and flytying gear, along with a big stack of swedish fly fishing magazines. It started with roach and perch but quickly moved on to rainbow trout stocked in a local pond. I have since done a handful of trips to northern sweden for brown trout, grayling and arctic char. Here, in southern Sweden, I also fish for sea run brown trout.
